DETROIT, Jan. 5, 2023 – HAAS Alert and Tome Software have developed an end-to-end digital alerting solution that is preconfigured and optimized for Android Automotive. The white-label Android AOSP applications enable OEMs and Tier1 suppliers to test, deploy, and integrate roadway hazard alerts from HAAS Alert’s Safety Cloud platform. More than 2 billion Safety Cloud alerts have been processed to date.
HAAS Alert’s Safety Cloud delivers real-time hazard data from emergency vehicles, work zones, and other roadway hazards to automotive OEM cloud platforms, which then display timely in-dash safety alerts to motorists in approaching vehicles.
Tome, leveraging its expertise in automotive services and Android software development, has created a system service to receive and display Safety Cloud triggered safety alerts to drivers in vehicles with any Android Automotive infotainment system.
